How are Japanese postal codes written?
Japanese postal codes contain seven digits, commonly displayed as 123-4567 and sometimes preceded by 〒. One code can occasionally return more than one area.
Hyphen or no hyphen?
This lookup accepts both. Follow the destination form’s example when entering the final value.
Data source
The lookup service uses published Japan Post postal data and may update on a different schedule from Japan Post itself.
